GARY. Ind., May 2 (A.P.)—The next time Mrs. Beulah Hopkins takes a bath shell lock the bathroom window.
Mrs. Hopkins went into the bathroom. disrobed and turned the water on in the tub. Suddenly her husband heard a scream. He dashed into the bathroom and his wife was gone. He peered out the open window. His wife had fallen three stories and was atop a sand pile on the ground.
At the Gary Hospital today Mrs. Hopkins explained that she stepped on a piece of soap and skidded right out the window; Her only injury was a wrenched back.
