Stambaugh, Mich, Nov. 19—(AP)—Albert Christianson, who reported he was stabbed by a deer is recovering at his home in Stambaugh township.
Christianson related this story: He was hunting in the woods north of here and shot a buck. He dropped his gun and ran to the deer with a hunting knife in his hand.
The animal kicked, knocked the knife from Christianson’s hand and the blade penetrated his right forearm, inflicting a deep gash.
He was weak from loss of blood when brought to a doctor’s office here. He walked two miles through the woods and then drove to Stambaugh.
