His Wife Teed Off

BISCOE, N.C. (AP) Lew Luquire, a textile worker who frequently loses track of time while he’s playing golf, promised to return home Monday in time to take his family to a movie.

He came in late, as usual, and sat down to a plate of warmed-over turkey hash. Dipping into it, he found three well-cooked golf balls, Christmas presents from his wife.
