RATHDRUM, Ireland (AP)—A parachuting Santa Claus was blown into a 10,000-volt power line Sunday, but es­caped with burns and a broken arm.

There was a brilliant flash from the power line as Ken­neth Conway’s parachute be­came entangled in the wires. The 22-year-old Dubliner was knocked unconscious and flung 27 feet to the ground.
