Fall on Ice Starts Blaze in His Pants

ELLENSBURG (Wash.) Feb. 19. (AP)—Joseph Trainor of the Ellensburg Normal School faculty, fell on ice. without a match on his person, and came up afire today.

After smothering the flames which shot from his hip pocket, Trainor discovered two celluloid combs he carried there had vanished completely.

Friction caused by the fall apparently ignited the combs. Trainor sustained a painful but not serious burn.
