‘Perfect Host’ Gets Prison Term
Syracuse, N Y. Oct. 9 (U.P.)— Playing the part of the “perfect host” resulted in a three months penitentiary sentence for Wayman G. Woody of this city.
He was arrested when friends reported to police that while his wife was entertaining them at supper. Woody looted their home. Persuaded by his wife to return the stolen articles, Woody told his “friends” he did it for a joke.
Sentence was imposed, however, when Judge Homer V. Walsh found he had previous petty larceny convictions against his record.
