This entire website is designed, written, and maintained by me, Steve Silverman.  However, this site would not exist if it were not for the positive feedback that I have received via e-mail from thousands of people worldwide (thanks!).

I am a science teacher at Chatham High School, which is located near Albany, New York.  I currently teach Physics and Earth Science.  I originally started collecting these stories as a way to make my classes more interesting, but little of what I research outside of school ever makes it into the classroom anymore.

I hope that my strange sense of humor does not offend any person out there in cyberspace. I have found each of the stories presented to be favorites among the people that have heard them. I will be posting additional stories periodically, so check back from time to time.
